BAR4 Isolation Barrier
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The BAR4 is m-tronix’s next-generation 1100 V isolation barrier, engineered to provide safe galvanic isolation between high voltage circuits and low-voltage detection or protection equipment.
It delivers full compliance with relevant statutory and industry standards, while introducing a more compact form factor, simpler installation, and lower build and wiring costs compared with earlier barrier designs.
Designed as the recommended isolation interface for the GFL3 Earth Leakage Lockout Frozen Contactor Relay, the BAR4 brings modernised performance into a smaller, installer-friendly package.
APPLICATION
The BAR4 is intended to isolate high voltage from connected electronic protection devices in mining and industrial systems, including:
• Earth leakage lockout systems
• Frozen contactor detection
• Control and protection relays requiring HV isolation
• Underground and surface distribution systems
• Conveyor, pump and motor starter circuits
Its compact DIN-rail housing makes it ideal for modern switchgear, OEM equipment, and retrofits where space efficiency is critical.
