PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The LLi3 Live Line Monitor System provides high-visibility indication of 3-phase AC circuit status for mining and industrial  electrical systems. It enables operators to quickly confirm whether a circuit is energised or isolated, reducing risk during  switching, lockout, maintenance and fault-finding.

The system is built on decades of proven Bramco technology, engineered and continuously developed by the Leishman family  and m-tronix. Fully compliant with AS 2081:2011 requirements for live-line indication.

The LLi3 system is designed for:

• Underground & surface mining switchgear

• Longwall, conveyor & pump starters

• OEM electrical enclosures

• MCCs and fixed plant

• VSD-compatible installations

• Any installation requiring remote live-line indication at the operator access point

Functionality

• LLi3 module connects directly to line or load terminals.

• A remote door-mounted LLD indicator provides isolated, extra-low-voltage LED indication for operator safety. • Dual LEDs per phase ensure redundancy of live-line indication.

• Test function verifies module and display operation.

Normal Operating Indication

• No AC present: all LEDs OFF

• AC present: LEDs ON for all energised phases • Any illuminated LED indicates a LIVE circuit

Fault / Abnormal Indication

• LEDs ON when isolation is expected may indicate: – welded contactor

– leakage to earth

– isolation failure

– back-feed or induced voltage

Functions

• Continuously detects >50 V on any phase

• Optical & Zener-clamped isolation for operator protection • Dual redundant LEDs per phase on LLD

• Test pushbutton confirms system operation
